Finstock AI was born in 2024 when our Founders Daniel Emaasit, Noel Etyang & Tobias Tukei were running our sister-company called Logistify AI. At this company, they provided inventory management software for manufacturers and wholesalers and realized that their volumes of raw materials & finished products were fluctuating. They soon discovered that the reason for this fluctuation in volumes was due to lack of capital to purchase raw materials and/or stock from their suppliers.

The Founders embarked on a mission to solve this problem by providing inventory loans to wholesalers/manufacturers. The key insight that our Founders discovered was that CCTV data inside the warehouses or production plants was instrumental in estimating the credit worthiness and probability of defaulting. The founders devised & built a credit-scoring algorithm that combines CCTV (visual) data, ERP/WMS/IMS data and business cashflows. This is the algorithm that underpins our Inventory Financing products.
